My next car

Pretty cool huh? I'm just wondering if Government Motors...I mean General Motors is going to continue the Hummer line now that Pres. Obama is in charge!

Wonder who's going to be fired next by this administration? I'm not to fond of my boss and I don't think he runs the company very well...maybe I'll write a letter to the Pres!

  1. It's my understanding that the people in the Middle East are buying the, like crazy. I think that of the twenty models GM makes, eleven of them make money. I don't know if the Hummer line is one of the eleven.

The problem is that Obama wants to force the car companies to make mini cars that run on electricity. Those of us who don’t want these small cars will be force to buy them sooner or later. How? They will add taxes on the old gas burners, for the good of the nation, until we can’t afford to keep them running. That plus the fact that replacement parts will not be available because the maker will be required to make parts for the new smaller cars.

  3. Grouchy,

That's exactly my point...this line is too poluting so even it is making money (I'm not sure), the government will discontinue these earth destroying vehicles.

I'd sure love to be in one of these if I was in a wreck at 70mph on the highway over one of those smart cars.

Don't worry all you have to do is lose your job and big brother will now pay for your car!

As a fellow H3 owner, I love my gas guzzling, anti environment vehicle and I plan on keeping it as long as I can. I've actually thought about going with an H2 just to make more people mad, but I really like the picture of this one, maybe I will have to change my mind!

  5. In the end GM is not making money on the Hummer Line anymore. So government or not. Gm was looking at closing the Hummer line down as early as last year.
Sorry hummer fans, but it just cost to much make, and not the demand for it any more.

    - H3 get around 20 MPG per one site. That's really not gas guzzling. Getting 9 only MPG is gas guzzling.
