Is Obama at Notre Dame a big deal?

Is this just following the tradition of having the new Pres. speak at graduation or is it hypocrisy?

    It is no more hypocrisy than it would be to have Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a B’nai B’rith or allowing Richard Dawkins to preach an Easter sermon.
