Castro Love

The Congressional Black Caucus, CBC, returned this week from their sleepover with the Castro brothers in Cuba. The CBC lovefest with Raul and Fidel hit new highs when Rep. Bobby Rush from Il. said "In my household I told Castro he is known as the ultimate survivor” and “It was almost like listening to an old friend". Rep. Emanuel Cleaver said "if there is repression in Cuba we didn’t see it" and speaking of Castro "He’s one of the most amazing human beings I’ve ever met.” Others in the group quoted Castro as wondering what he could do to help Obama.

Apparently religious oppression and jailing political allies is not important to the CBC. I guess when you support ACORN you can support anyone. If this is the direction of the Democratic party do fellow Republicans really need to worry?

  1. Either Stalin or Lenin called these types of people useful idiots. They come back and spread the communist propaganda thinking that they are the enlightened ones.

Do we need to worry? That depends upon how many people believe their propaganda. How many people believed Michael Moore’s film? How many people believed Gore’s book? How many people believed Obama’s promise of change?

  2. I'm looking forward to traveling to Cuba. They say the beaches are really nice.

Look we can travel to China and Vietnam. Both are communist style country's. It's time we open up Cuba. Maybe we can buy our toys from then instead of china. (less lead in them) =)~

  3. I do have to agree with Pook. Cuba is no worse and better than some of the countries we have relations with.
